HILTON COACHWORKS
A large scale multi-storey building suitable for automobile repair.
RCA Structures were involved in this project as consultants to provide design for a large scale multi-storey building suitable for automobile repair.
The building has a plan area of around 2300m2. RCA Structures were asked to provide both foundation and concrete ground floor design. The building was formed in large steel portal frames that were designed by a specialist supplier.
RCA Structures provided a piled foundation design and details for the client along with details for the concrete ground floor supporting various forms of car lifting equipment and turntables. Our design was completed and issued on time and the building was formally opened in March 2022.
